I have been finding some great challenges to take part in since we are not able to take part in real life racing – this is the second installment- see here for the first!
I have also included some you can still enter at the time of first publishing. I’ll be updating this post with how they go.
Miles for Mind
For this challenge by Runr I chose 100 miles in a month, and I was a bit worried I wouldn’t manage it. But I did and with loads of time to spare – May ended up being a 200km month!

Centurion 50km
Centurion had different options and I chose 50km over a week. It was part of my highest mileage month ever, and kept motivation going!

Big Bear Challenge & Headtorch 10km
I did 10km ish for both of these, with the headtorch 10km being partly in the dark! It was great to have one of these flapjacks again and I can’t wait to go real life Big Bear racing again.
Maverick 50km
20-28 June : This was going to be my first 50km race, however I ended up breaking my ankle… therefore I did what I could – I got to 50km eventually (it took 3 weeks)! I’m wasn’t wearing my Maverick shirt until I did!

Race to the Stones
6th – 12th July : Race to the Stones had Half Marathon, Marathon or 100km options. I did a half marathon in a week.
Summer of CMTR
8th June – 16th September: This fantastic event has 30 different badges to obtain through a multitude of different challenges – such as fastest km, bright clothes run, sunset… it is such good fun and I have loved it so far. Keep track of my progress on Instagram.

I’m looking forward to completing these and updating you on my progress!
